| So there is this talkshow in Japan which discusses the Nanking
Massacre. Their point is that there is no photographic evidence
concerning the Massacre, so it did not exist. China used some
fabricated photo's apparently and their main point was that there would
be more pictures, especially by reporters that would have been there
afterword. So since they convinced a "foreign" reporter that he
was wrong, they had a basis to go forward with their thoughts that the
Nanking Massacre never happened. Though there is probably no
doubt that there is propaganda involved with China, it still amazes me
that people today want to deny some of the atrocities committed during
that war. I guess the Germans wish they weren't such meticulous
notetakers, then they could have denied alot more stuff too.
Interesting viewing though, but one needs to read the "Rape of Nanking"
by Iris Chang also and see what you conclude.

| Don't know what is worse, the pain or the desire for payback.
Wish I felt worse, feels like losing George all over again. Sad
to say you deal with the pain better when you have been through it
before, but you never get use to that call, and no matter how much I
pray I don't think it will be the last. I promise you Wendy that
Jonathon will grow up knowing what kind of a man, brother, friend,
soldier, husband, and father Ian was. His Uncles will never let
him forget.
I need to go make some crazy money so I know everyone who has lost their dad is taken care of.
I should have been there.
"And when our work is done
Our course on earth is run
May it be said, Well Done.
Be Thou at peace."
See you at Arlington brother.

| It has been over 8 months, many continents, many countries, many homes,
many surfaces, but finally last night I slept in my own bed. Ahh,
how I have missed you with your 400 threadcount sheets. Damn I am
a simple dude.
For you NE'ers, it was 82 degrees and sunny in Hermosa today......

| Well after dicking around in DC for 6 weeks my timeline in LA:
Got into San Diego at 11PM, drive up to LAX, got in around 0200.
Interview at 0830. Interview for hour and half, met with the guys
again at 1115. job offer.
Gotta love being pursued by people. Nice to feel wanted. Looks like I
am living in LA. Not SD but think I will still be able to live by the
beach. But my territory location means living by the beach means
living in Santa Monica, Venice, Manhattan, or Hermosa, just the most
expensive places.
Oh well, worse things in life. Walked around Hermosa today, 75 and sunny.......
| Monday, Jan 9th, fly into SD. Interviews for the next 3 weeks. Gotta find a J-O-B.
Looking forward to getting back out west. Going to leave behind of a
lot of good friends here in DC but gotta hit the road for a while.
Going to be a star! Or just become a trashy porn star after my hopes of making it big go down the toilet.......
